It is with a bit of sadness that i have decided to step down as SCL. My reasons for this are that i havent played JKA in ages and my computer refuses to reinstall or load the game. I will still continue to be active on the forums and will be active in The Old Republic on the Sith side on Bao-Dur server (PvE) and Trayus Academy server (PvP), (characters name on both realms are called Rew). As a leaving request, i would like to recommend Ren as my replacement if possible as he is the next highest ranking Sith that i am aware of, but whoever is offered the position, Congrats :)

On another note: i now have access to my MSN again :D so if you would like to add me on that to chat sometime, my addy is Martinfaulkes15@hotmail.com

Hope to hear from ppl soon

Rewel.

Its sad to hear that Rewel, but im glad to hear that you will still be sticking around and i can understand your reasoning, I assume there will be a C meeting down the line to discuss this. But for now I think you will stay as SCL in the list until we know what to do. Just wanted to leave a message so you know the thread hasnt been ignored xD.

(If you left some info on whats wrong with your jka, maybe some1 can offer some help, just a thought)

Hello Rew!

There may be a soluton for that, ask a friend of yours to make ISO files from your jka cd-s, and then mount them up with some virtual drive program(Daemon tools Lite eg.), install and it should be working all fine, no physical cd-s required just some space for the iso files.
I hope it will help!

Greetings
Feanor

I was thinking about that to, until i realised you wouldnt be able to rip the disk XD but fea has a good solution. Another way if you dont mind spending a bit of cash is buying it on steam, since then you wont need to use a disk.

Thats not exactly right, Steam should create the basic file structure as it was made before. But someone who bought it through steam should know. Plat got it from steam I think.

I am sure that many members have it from steam, but I kind of forgot who. I think Mindo bought it from steam too.

Yep, I got JKA trough steam and its working perfectly for me.
You can install JA+, There is a base pack in that thing.. just have to dig deep.. i had to look for myself, i also had Socke to help me with finding it :)
Ohwell, its 9 euro's and easy to download etc.

Hope you get it fixed ^^

The only thing which will not work is Ultra Utility as far as I know. Older Killtrackers might fail as well.
